The journey begins with a dream... and a pencil.
It all starts with an idea, a concept we want to express: an emotion, a story, an inspiration. Sometimes it's the shape of a leaf, other times it's an energy we want to channel, a personal or collective or well-known symbol.
The first thing we do is draw. Yes, literally. With a pencil, on paper, we sketch the shape we believe the jewel should have. At that moment, we already begin to feel it: we imagine its texture, its weight, how it will shine when the light hits it. This creative and almost magical part is what makes each Hand Soul piece so special.
The power of the natural: stones that speak
A fundamental part of the process is the selection of natural stones. We don't just look for beauty or color: we look for energy, symbolism, and connection. Each stone has its own language, its own vibration. And not all of them are for all pieces.
When we create a collection, we think about what we want to convey: self-love? protection? rebirth? serenity? creativity? Based on that intention, we look for stones that vibrate with that energy. Sometimes the process is reversed: a stone finds us, and we feel it has to be the center of a jewel or collection. Sometimes inspiration even comes from a message from a client or friend. What you need eventually finds you.
That's why in our jewelry you can find everything from prehnites, which invite calm and spirituality, to rose quartz, which connects with love and tenderness, or labradorites, which provide intuition and magic. Every natural gem we use has been chosen with a purpose, and no two are alike.
